Insurance and Financing at Estrada Dentistry
Good dental care should not stay out of reach because the paperwork feels complicated. As a family-owned practice serving Hudson and Port Richey, we keep the money side simple: we accept PPO insurance and Medicare, we offer CareCredit financing, and we go over your plan with you before any treatment is scheduled. If you have a question about your situation, call (727) 869-3886 and our front desk will walk you through it.
PPO Dental Insurance
We accept PPO dental insurance plans. Because every plan is written differently, our team checks your benefits before treatment begins and reviews them with you, so you know how your plan applies to the care Dr. Estrada recommends. We handle the claim filing, and if something in your plan is unclear, we would rather sort it out together at the front desk than leave you guessing.
Medicare
We accept Medicare, which matters to many of the retirees and seasonal residents we care for across west Pasco County. Bring your card to your first visit and our team will verify how your coverage applies before anything is scheduled.
CareCredit Financing
For treatment that insurance does not fully cover, or for patients without insurance, we offer CareCredit financing. It works like a payment plan for health care: instead of paying everything at once, you split the cost into monthly payments. Larger treatments such as dental implants or full arch work are where most patients use it. Our team can help you apply at the office and answer questions about how the payments work.
No Insurance? You Still Have Options
Plenty of our patients pay for their care without any insurance at all, and it is more manageable than most people expect. Preventive visits like exams and cleanings are the least expensive care in dentistry, and staying on top of them is what keeps the bigger bills from ever showing up. When larger treatment is needed, CareCredit can spread the cost into monthly payments, and spreading the work across a few visits keeps any single bill manageable. Tell our front desk you are paying on your own and we will plan around it from the start.
A Note for Seasonal Residents
West Pasco fills up with returning snowbirds every winter, and many of them keep Dr. Estrada as their Florida dentist year after year. If you split the year between states, bring your insurance card and the name of your dentist back home, and we will coordinate records so nothing falls through the cracks between offices. Cleanings, repairs, and even larger work can be planned around the months you are actually here.
What to Bring to Your First Visit
A little preparation makes your first appointment smoother. Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, a list of any medications you take, and, if you are switching from another practice, the name and phone number of your previous dentist so we can request your records and X-rays. If you would rather sort any of this out ahead of time, call the office and our team will handle it before you arrive.
You Will Know Your Plan Before Treatment Starts
After your exam, Dr. Estrada lays out what your mouth needs and in what order, and our team goes over the costs with you before you commit to anything. Not every problem has to be fixed at once, and sequencing treatment across visits is often the most workable path. What we do not do is start work and surprise you afterward. If cost is the thing that has kept you away from the dentist, say so plainly. It is a conversation we have every day, and there is almost always a sensible way forward.
