FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? Read below or call (727) 869-3886 for more information from our friendly staff!

What services does Estrada Dentistry offer?

Nearly everything happens under one roof here: routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, dental implants, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and periodontal treatment. If your teeth need it, chances are we do it.

What makes Estrada Dentistry different from other dental practices?

Estrada Dentistry is a family owned practice that treats patients like family. We handle nearly everything in-house, and the same dentist sees your care through from start to finish.

Is Dr. Estrada experienced with dental implants?

Yes. Dr. Jaime Estrada has placed dental implants for years and handles the work in-house. Implants are permanent replacements that look and function like natural teeth, and he will walk you through what to expect before anything starts.

What should I do in case of a dental emergency?

Call us right away at (727) 869-3886. We hold room in the schedule for emergencies, so we will do our best to see you as soon as possible and tell you which office can get you in first.

How can I schedule an appointment at Estrada Dentistry?

Call our office at (727) 869-3886 or fill out the appointment request form on this page. Either way, our front desk will help you find a time that works at whichever office is closer to you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

The same four things we ask of every new patient: a photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, a medication list, and any records from a previous dentist. Missing something? Come anyway.

What is the cancellation policy for appointments?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice when you can. That opening usually goes to another patient who has been waiting to get in.

How often should I schedule routine dental checkups?

Every six months for most patients. Regular checkups keep your cleanings on schedule and let us catch small problems while they are still small, which usually means simpler, less expensive fixes.

What can I expect during my first consultation at Estrada Dentistry?

Your first visit starts with a conversation about your health history and what you want, followed by a thorough exam. Then Dr. Estrada goes over what he found in plain language and maps out a treatment plan with you before anything gets scheduled.

Do you offer consultations for cosmetic dentistry procedures?

Yes. Dr. Estrada will look at your smile, ask what you would like to change, and go over options such as teeth whitening, veneers, or bonding. You will know what each one involves before you commit to anything.

How long does a dental consultation usually take?

Plan on about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on what we are looking at and what we are discussing. We would rather take a few extra minutes to answer your questions than send you home unsure about the plan.

What insurance and payment options do you accept?

We accept PPO insurance and Medicare, and we offer CareCredit financing so you can spread treatment out if you would like. Because every plan and policy is different, our team is glad to help you make sense of your coverage and walk through your options before any work begins. Contact our office and we will go over what to expect at your first visit.
