What the Process Looks Like

It starts with an exam and a 3D scan so Dr. Estrada can measure your bone and plan where each implant goes before surgery day. On the day of placement, the area is fully numbed, and sedation is available if you would rather rest through it. Any remaining teeth that cannot be saved are removed, the implants are placed, and a temporary bridge usually goes on the same visit. Over the next few months the implants fuse with the bone, a process called osseointegration, and once that is solid your custom final bridge is fitted.
